Ligament Preserving Total Knee Replacement

Mobile Bearing Total Knee Replacement

In the mobile bearing knee the polyethylene spacer that takes the place of the intra-joint cartilage is not affixed to the tibial plateau, and instead it is free to slide or rotate on a highly polished metal tray that replaces the natural tibial plateau. The rotation allows for a more natural range of knee motion.
