Unicompartmental Knee Replacement or Partial Knee Replacement

In the unicompartmental knee replacement, only one of the two femoral condyles and the adjacent portion of the tibial plateau is replaced. It is appropriate when the cartilage of one of the two condyles has significant arthritic wear or damage.
